About Us

Store Owner

The Piece by Piece building has been in Belinda's family for over 30 years. It's first mark of business was a part store, where Belinda first learned the ropes of running a business alongside her father. When Belinda wasn't helping customers look for nuts & bolts, she had her sewing machine in the back room, creating quilts.

Today, what was a backroom hobby, has now turned into a dream. A shop that once stored parts is now renovated into a crafters dream. A space that now displays beautiful, crafted quilts, a rainbow of bolted fabrics, rows of woolen skeins of yarn and a work of collaboration with local artist.

Piece by Piece was designed not only to keep an inventory of tactile items and the fine arts, but also a working space for the community of crafters to come together to; learn, share experiences, create lasting friendships and a resource of knowledge to help solve your questions to your crafting inspirations.

Belinda's great love for all things crafty, doesn't exceed her love for her family. She has been married for 31 years to her high school sweetheart. They have two adult children and three grandchildren. When Belinda isn't spending time with her family, creating a new masterpiece, you will find her looking for the next great adventure.

Yarn & Wool Manager & Class Instructor

We welcome Donna Anderson as one of our newest members of our staff. While she is our yarn manager, she is also our class instructor and offers private lessons for both knitting and crocheting. Donna really is a jack of all trades.

Donna has been crocheting for 50 years, can do most needle crafts, and took to knitting just seven years ago.

Donna hails from Lake City, where she raised her three children and dedicated 24 years of service to the Rochester Federal Medical Center.

Retirement life is great for this granny, spending a few months out of the year helping out her children with the grand babies while the Army keeps them busy.

An Army veteran herself. Donna knows life is too short to take things too seriously. She is wonderfully cheerful, her laugh and smile fill the room.

Make sure you come and see Donna on Wednesdays from 10 -2 and most Saturdays from 10 -2. She will be there to help any questions that you have about our yarn, your yarn project. You can also setup private lessons if you're wanting to learn how to knit or crochet.

Quilt Sample Maker & Class Instructor

Meet Jean Cameron.  She is an amazingly talented quilt maker and we feel very                                                                                  blessed  that she is apart of our shop.  Many of the beautiful quilt samples you see                                                                              displayed in the shop are made by Jean.

If you happen to be at our shop at just right time, Jean also makes amazing baked                                                                               goods.  If you're lucky, we might just share them with you!

There is no quilt pattern she won't tackle or baked good she won't share.  Make sure                                                                            you stop at our shop to marvel over the talented work Jean has displayed on our walls.
